The thought of the day is about the July Rotary theme - Maternal and Child Health Month. From Dr Lena Wen.
"In order to improve maternal health, we have to focus on improving all women's health and access to care - not just during labor and delivery, but before and after pregnancy, and throughout our lives."
Rotarians shared their summer plans. Themes included new houses, new grandchildren, vacations and visiting grandchildren in far-off places. Lee is playing pickleball. Hoppy has a new knee!
Organization needs
Our merry band has opportunities for you! We still have openings for next year's board. We don't have a Rotary club if we don't have a Secretary and Treasurer. Contact President Laura to volunteer starting in July.
- The Secretary would be responsible for attending the club executive meetings and writing up the notes.
- The Treasurer is responsible for the (1) light bookkeeping and quarterly invoices in the QB system
- The Meeting newsletter chair is responsible for this document - attending the meeting and communicating with the club on what happened at the meetings
