Howdy, Club! Between the (wonderful!) snowmageddon and a five-Tuesday January, it will have been five weeks since we've met in person! This is a short and sweet newsletter to remind you about our meeting tomorrow (Tuesday, February 7) at noon at Taverna and to catch you up on a couple of recent service projects. And, beginning with tomorrow's meeting, I promise to put more time and effort into these regular newsletters.
Club Activity
Updates
Armenian students:
Billie McGraw (four!), Mike Williams (two), and Paul Wagner (two) each hosted students from the Armenian music and dance group that's touring the USA. Many thanks to Mike Casey for helping to coordinate the meetings and activities during the short time the group was here in Flagstaff. And thanks also to Dino Dullbson for hosting the other half of the group at his Lucky Lane hotel!
Service Projects:
Five Rotarians and three of our family members volunteered at the Flagstaff Family Food Center in January. It was a great project: over 650 sandwiches assembled for their lunch program! The PB&J team beat the Meat Sandwich team, 350 to 304. A good time was had by all.
